THE JURY

Meet our jury of in-game photography experts who will be selecting the winning shots!

Amélie Sorel

Art Director, Ubisoft Montreal

Amélie's creative journey consisted of studies in fine arts and 3D, working as a model, exploring various dance styles and martial arts, and riding motorcycles. When she travels, she likes to take pictures that are off the classic of what would be expected of a certain landmark. She finds it interesting to bring a new vision of something everyone has seen so many times, and believes the same applies for in-game photography. Amélie will be looking for in-game photos with out-of-the-box composition or mood, that makes it look like it could be an indie music video or a sleek high fashion ad.

Jonas Cuénin

Managing Director, Blind Magazine

Jonas is a French journalist, photographer and photography director. Since 2019, he has been working as Managing Director at Blind Magazine and has previously worked as editor-in-chief at the magazines L’Œil de la Photographie and Camera. Recently, he has developed interest for in-game photography, and will be looking for the best stories games can tell through images taken within Ubisoft games.

Jack Harrison

Top 20 winner of Ubisoft's 2022 Photomode contest

Jack Harrison (aka VirtualTourism ) is a virtual photographer from England whose in-game photo from Ghost Recon Wildlands was a top-20 winner of the 2022 Ubisoft Photomode competition. His passion for photography blossomed in 2017, when he discovered virtual photography through his love for video games. In his view, a good in-game photo lies in strong composition, lighting, engaging subject matter, and emotional impact.

Shauna Jones

Community Manager, Consumer Interaction / Virtual Photographer, Ubisoft CRC Newcastle

Shauna has been part of the video game industry for nearly a decade, and currently works as a Community Manager for Ubisoft in Newcastle Upon Tyne, England. She studied Game Design, production, and photography, and has recently created a community on X for virtual photographers where she runs weekly themes for members to share their photos. Her favorite in-games pictures are the ones that give the world a new perspective and grab the attention to detail in a way which makes you unsure of which game it was taken from.
